The Orientale Lumen ^[1] conference here in DC begins in earnest today, and I am attending. The theme of the conference is the Councils of the Church, and there are some great speakers. Today promises to be especially interesting, as the Washington bishop of both the Roman Catholic Church (Archbishop Donald Wuerl) and the Orthodox Church in America (Metropolitan Jonah) will be speaking.

I hope to have some commentary and pictures up later this week. Pray for all those involved!
