Now this is my kind of bishop

I had the pleasure of working with then-Fr. Conley in the early 1990′s on pro-life efforts. He was an outstanding priest, and I’m sure he is an outstanding bishop. And it looks like he’s a pretty tough southpaw as well.

  1. This partly heals the shame of the Rockies grand opening game in their then brand new ball park in the early 1990s…which happened on Good Friday, despite the protests of Catholics and our good archbishop Stafford (now Cardinal Stafford).

  4. 92 mph? I doubt it. That follow-through stance tells me it was a wiffleball. Don’t doubt he will be a terrific bishop, though.
