According to Italian journalist Sandro Magister, the current leadership in the Legion is the problem, not part of the solution ^[1], and he urges the Vatican to replace them in order for reform to really happen.

Another solution would just be to shut it all down and consider criminal charges against anyone who might have aided or abetted the fraud Maciel over the years.
