Deserving

Today the results of Baseball’s Hall of Fame voting will be announced, and if there is any justice in the world, this man will be voted in.

Update: Larkin was not voted in, but he received enough votes that it looks likely that he will be inducted within a few years.

Baseball

  1. Barry Larkin would have been far more respected during his career if Ozzie Smith hadn’t been playing at the same time. As a Cincinnatian, I was uniquely aware of his greatness. His Donruss rookie card is one of my prized possessions.

  2. Matt,

I very much prize my topps rookie card of his as well.

But how about the Chapman signing? We haven’t had a real free agent signing in a long, long time.
