They both occurred at the same time, at my baptism. For I was saved at my baptism (1 Peter 3:21) and also joined the Church at that time (1 Cor. 12:13). 

But this process of salvation is not just an event in the past which is now over. I am also being saved (1 Cor. 1:18, 2 Cor. 2:15) and I hope that someday I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10).</description>
