Every Sunday I avoid using the computer, so I just found out this morning that notorious abortion provider George Tiller was shot and killed yesterday ^[1] (ironically, on May 31st, which would be the Feast of the Visitation most years).

For those not familiar with Tiller, he is the most prominent abortionist in the country, and one of the few who perform late-term abortions. Due to this practice, he has been the focus of protests for years.

Just yesterday, I was teaching my daughter catechism and the subject was the afterlife. I was telling her that we do not wish for anyone to go to hell and should pray for all the dead, regardless of their actions here on earth. That includes George Tiller. Please pray for him that he might have repented of his evil actions and that the Lord would have mercy on his soul. And do not believe that his soul is beyond redemption – the Cross is more powerful than any person’s actions.
